Hansel Technologies builds production-grade software systems for businesses across Africa and beyond. We are a small, focused team of engineers, designers, and product thinkers who care about shipping systems that actually work.
Our story
Built from real project work, not pitch decks.
Hansel Technologies started because we kept seeing the same problem: businesses in Kenya and across Africa needed serious software built, but the options were either expensive international firms or teams that could not deliver at production quality.
We started building. First for clients who needed operations platforms and payment integrations. Then healthcare systems. Then AI-powered products. Each project taught us more about what it takes to ship software that people actually depend on every day.
Today we have shipped over 30 systems across 8 industry verticals. From the KURA risk management platform for the Kenya Urban Roads Authority to Retina AI for non-invasive diabetes detection, our work is in production, serving real users, and holding up under real load.
